The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economics and Statistics Administration, U.S. Census Bureau trade figures for October 2020 indicated vehicle imports were down in five categories outlined, compared to October 2019. For the first 10 months of 2020, vehicles imports were down in seven categories, compared to the first 10 months of 2019.

The United States imported 177 vehicles in October 2020, down 43 percent from 308 vehicles for October 2019. For the first 10 months of 2020, the United States imported 1,290 vehicles, down 45 percent from 2,334 vehicles for the first 10 months of 2019.
Canada sent 980 vehicles to the United States during the first 10 months of 2020, while Mexico shipped 156 vehicles.
The average price per vehicle for October 2020 was $283,515.52, down 3 percent from $292,991.59 for October 2019. The average price per vehicle for the first 10 months of 2020 was $285,127.59, down 10 percent from $316,221.96 for the first 10 months of 2019.
